My first great art creation was, as a two year-old, a masterpiece of scribbled red lip stick across my mother's white bed spread. (Sadly, the critics were not kind.)  That same year I smeared a mural of chocolate pudding along our kitchen wall.  Since then I have adopted a more sophisticated set of media in which to work, but my original enthusiasm for expressing myself through the use of art remains just as strong.  These days, I work primarily in acrylic, watercolor and oil paint.

I like to capture the movement of everyday people doing everyday things.  I like to paint people who are candidly engaged in the spontaneous activities of life.  To me there is a great deal of beauty in common scenes.  I am especially interested in capturing those exceptional moments in which nature and people combine with unusual lighting and extraordinary color.
